Solid wood and steel construction. Comfortable, heavy-duty bedsprings allow for mattresses up to 80″. Bed ends are 2.5″ × 2.5″, solid wood, posts that are connected by 1.25″ × 4″ rails using strong, stable mortise and tenon joinery. Firm even support is provided by helically suspended 9 gauge long life sinuous wire on a heavy-duty, steel, frame with reinforced corners. Two (2) side-rails, 1.25″ × 5″ × 80.25″, solid wood, with heavy-duty, steel hook plates bolted to each end provide both a top safety rail and a stabilizing lower stretcher.
