Fire ring is 0.25″ thick. Cooking grate is constructed of 0.5″ round steel rod with a 0.25″ × 2″ steel frame. Grate is hinged and has two handles for easy lifting. Ring is secured to the ground by two 15″ round rod stakes (supplied) driven through the hinges on the back of the grill. 5 year warranty.
